Area Sales Manager – Phakisa Payroll Administrators (KZN)

An established premium catering equipment company seeks experienced area sales manager with 5-10 years’ experience and good knowledge of the restaurant, hotel or hospitality industry.

An established track record and customer base is a major plus.

Candidate Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • 5-10 years sales experience
  • 1-2 years area sales management experience / Key Account management experience
  • Good computer skills with prior use of a CRM system
  • Matric or Equivalent
  • Hospitality industry / food service  knowledge or experience
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Experience preparing and submitting activity reports

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound sales leads
  • Establish key accounts and seeking out new business
  • Meet or better sales targets
  • provide sales consultation and expert product advice to clients or leads
  • demonstrate expertise of food service business and solve client business challenges
  • Provide excellent service and after-sales service
  • Promote the sales of specific brands and new products
  • Liaise with back office, dispatch, technical and other departments
