An established premium catering equipment company seeks experienced area sales manager with 5-10 years’ experience and good knowledge of the restaurant, hotel or hospitality industry.
An established track record and customer base is a major plus.
Candidate Requirements
Education / Experience:
- 5-10 years sales experience
- 1-2 years area sales management experience / Key Account management experience
- Good computer skills with prior use of a CRM system
- Matric or Equivalent
- Hospitality industry / food service knowledge or experience
- Good negotiating skills
- Experience preparing and submitting activity reports
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound sales leads
- Establish key accounts and seeking out new business
- Meet or better sales targets
- provide sales consultation and expert product advice to clients or leads
- demonstrate expertise of food service business and solve client business challenges
- Provide excellent service and after-sales service
- Promote the sales of specific brands and new products
- Liaise with back office, dispatch, technical and other departments
