A video circulating on social media has it that, some residents in one of the Villages in Agona Nkwanta have called on the government of Ghana to come to their aid because the Chinese in the village has killed and eaten all the vultures and frogs in their community.

One of the concerned residents who was interviewed in the circulating video disclosed that, vultures and frogs are now scarce in their community due to the rush of the meat by the Chinese nationals.
According to the residents, the Chinese now spend huge moneys by paying young boys to use catapults to hunt for vultures for them and this has really become a very challenging issues for them.

Some also disclosed that, hearing the sounds of the frogs croaking gives them hope and keeps them company. But since the Chinese nationals has been capturing them, they no longer hear them croak and this is worrying because their community has become really quite without the frogs.
They are therefore appealing to the government to come to their aid.
