Supporters of the Ruling party NPP and main Opposition party NDC gathered at the Bokum square to cheer their various candidates who were participating in a parliamentary debate organized by 3FM when things turned sore Between them.
It’s still unknown what exactly sparked the violent act which left several injured and smashing of windscreens of cars but according to the Ghana Police service, both parties wrote their statements about what exactly caused the riot.
Videos circulating on the internet shows supporters of both parties trowing bottles at each other and this isn’t a good sign considering it’s less than two months to the General election.
