Wife of Ghanaian footballer Sulley Ali Muntari, Menaye Donkor says nobody needs to hold a white wedding to be legally married because it’s just a party.
Menaye says she and Sulley never held a so-called white wedding because they knew after their traditional marriage that they’re legally married.
Menaye said white weddings are nothing but parties and a party can be held any time one wants.
“We did a traditional wedding ceremony and that was what my Dad wanted which is the normal way so Sulley’s family respected that. We never did a white wedding because we all didn’t want to at that moment,” she revealed.
“I wanted to but after the traditional wedding, he was moving to another Club in England so relocating and all that was a whole lot and we didn’t want to add up plans for a white wedding,”
Menaye added: “I think (white wedding) is just a party and not a wedding because if you have already registered your marriage with your wife then legally you are his wife. It is just a party and we have parties every day.”
White weddings have become a big part of marriages in Ghana and are becoming even more expensive by the day.
Menaye, who’s husband is rich and could throw her any white wedding sh wants is not in a hurry to hold one but slay queen Adwoa Ataa earning nothing would say she won’t marry any man who doesn’t throw her a white wedding. Ladies of today won’t kill Ghanaian men!
