The mother of Ghanaian professional footballer, Christian Atsu is dead.

The 28-year-old player who plays for Premier League club Newcastle United make the announcement this Saturday afternoon via Facebook.
He wrote: “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure as you left us today #RIPMum ”.
